Carol Arnold to receive MS Liberation Treatment – Find out how you can help!‏

Dear friends and family,

As many of you know, my sister Carol has lived with Multiple Sclerosis for much of her life. Chronic fatigue, weakness and many other symptoms of MS have made day-to-day living a challenge for Carol over the years.

The recent talk of Liberation Treatment and the early successes doctors have had with alleviating MS symptoms has brought hope to MS patients everywhere.  With her third grandchild due in a few months, Carol is excited at the prospect of increased mobility and decreased fatigue that this treatment can bring.

However, the Liberation Treatment is not available in Canada. It is available in the US, but is expensive. Carol has recently been able to arrange an appointment on short notice for the Liberation Treatment in Rhode Island on August 1. The total cost for Carol and her husband John to travel to Rhode Island and for Carol to undergo the treatment is upwards of $10,000.

We want to help Carol reach her goal as quickly as possible, so have decided to have a raffle to help raise money for her treatment.

Tickets are available now, and will cost $50 each. There will be one prize of a $500 (Canadian) Future Shop gift card for the winner! We will only be selling a limited number of tickets, so the odds of winning are great (even better if you buy more than one ticket!). Tickets will only be available for a few days due to the short notice for Carol's appointment.

You can buy tickets directly from Jodi and Lloyd, or online at https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=CXJU3KHJB7L78. The draw will be held at our house at 232 St George St, Sussex, NB on Thusday, July 28 at 8:00 PM.  All ticket holders are welcome to come for the draw and to wish Carol well! (Note: you do not have to be in attendance to win.)

Donations to help Carol with the costs of the Liberation Treatment are also accepted and can be given to any of Carol’s family, or online at https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=GV7W9RA34NKT8.

Between raffle tickets and donations, we hope to raise $7,500 despite the short time frame. The province of New Brunswick has a program in place to match funds raised, up to $2,500 for approved applicants, which would bring the total to $10,000 and cover the treatment entirely. We hope we can count on your support. So we need lots of help. Please feel free to pass this message on to anyone you feel would be interested in hearing about Carol’s upcoming Liberation Treatment, and our fundraising efforts to help her. If you would like to help out by selling tickets to your family, friends and co-workers, please feel free to get in touch via e-mail (lloydravn at hotmail.com) or on call Lloyd at 506-292-4956.

Thanks for your help,
Jodi and Lloyd Ravn
