A conversation I overheard yesterday:
Trucker: These days, I'm just driving the truck from New Brunswick to Alabama.
Other Guy: Wow, how long does it take to get down there?
Trucker: Four days. Yeah. Three and a half days. Yeah. I leave on Saturday night and get there on Monday morning.
Pardon?
*Laughs* Since my sig other used to be a truck driver, I know how hard it is to understand the lingo. He was talking about 3 or 4 LEGAL driving days. But, of course you can fudge log bools and lie on paperwork so it pads your wallet more come payday!
